The feeling of loneliness

                      The feeling of loneliness is
                  often overwhelming,
                      like a tidal wave
                      sweeping over me.


                 I feel like I'm drowning
                         in the deep sorrow
                          of self.
                  Come my Lord  and
                     save me;
                   lift me in to your
                        loving arms.


                Let me feel your arms
                 around me.
                 then no more will
                   the feeling of loneliness

                     sweep over me.
